The Dermatology Conference Study Day is FREE to access, FREE from influence and FREE to attend for all registered HCPs.

This study day will start at 9:00am with the Welcome and Introductions. The first talk of the study day will begin shortly after. Our expert speakers will be discussing the following topics:

  • Overview of Venous disease recognising the signs and the importance of early intervention
  • Recommended treatment for venous disease
  • Overview of compression hosiery: Classification, criteria for use, selection.
  • Legs Matter campaign

  • An overview of diagnosis, signs/symptoms of common dermatology conditions
  • Red flags – what to look out for and when to refer
  • Treatment pathways and topical treatment choices (PrescQIPP), and dermatology medicines optimisation

Skin lesions

  • Describing and recording skin lesions
  • An overview of skin cancer – how to assess lesions of concern
  • Practical demonstration in using a dermatoscope to assist in diagnosis
  • When to refer a lesion of concern according to NHS pathways
