The Diabetes, CKD & Obesity in Primary Care Study Day is FREE to access, FREE from influence and FREE to attend for all registered HCPs.
This study day will start at 9:00am with the Welcome and Introductions. The first talk of the study day will begin shortly after. Our expert speakers will be discussing the following topics:
- Managing SGLT2 and GLP1s in Primary Care
- Insulin Initiation in Primary Care
- Introduction to CKD pathway in hypertension and diabetes
- NICE CKD Guidelines Management Pathways (people without diabetes and high bp)
- Obesity – epidemiology
- Role of genetics and the metabolic set point theory
- Management of Obesity – having effective consultations about therapies available on the NHS and offered privately
