The Lipid Management webinar is prioritised, and FREE, for Primary Care, PCN, ICB and GP Practice Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Trainees.Â
This study day will start at 12:00 with the Welcome and Introductions. The webinar will begin shortly after. Our expert speakers will be discussing the following topics:
- QOF Indicators (CHOL003 and CHOL004)**: Provide general case studies around these indicatorsÂ
- Clarification on desired LDL/Non-HDL levels and steps to take if they are not in the desired range with supporting case studies where not in rangeÂ
- A case study including the use of the newer IV treatments (Inclisiran) and out role in primary care in management of patientsÂ
- Guidance on escalating lipid therapy in accordance with NICE guidelines.Â
- Address the requirement from the Medicines Optimisation contract (ICS) to offer statins to patients with a QRISK score above 10%. Strategies to achieve this within a 10-minute digital appointment
