Success at the Vitality Big Half Marathon!

MORPh Consultancy’s Rachel Jeynes took part in the Vitality Big Half Marathon on Sunday 4th March 2018.

Despite the four days of snow beforehand, the sun shone down on London as Rachel, along with 15,000 participants, started at Tower Bridge and finished in Greenwich passing through the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham and Greenwich.

Created by the London Marathon Events Ltd, The Vitality Big Half was a new one-day festival celebrating London’s unique diversity, bringing together some of the best athletes in the world as well as catering for runners of all abilities including those with disabilities. With this in mind – Rachel was determined to race and raise money for her chosen charity, Scope, who exist to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Having previously run many 10k’s in the past, this was the perfect opportunity to push herself even further and raise awareness.

In an impressive time of 2 hours 20 minutes, Rachel crossed the finish line with a spring in her step!

We would like to wish Rachel a huge ‘congratulations’ from everyone at MORPh Consultancy for this incredible achievement!
